(Cataloging) RAMEAU = Répertoire d’autorité-matière encyclopédique et alphabétique unifié [FR : RAMEAU)
The subject indexing tool currently used by the majority of French libraries. The National Library of France is responsible for the intellectual management of this directory. To cope with a rapidly changing environment (data web, data interoperability, new research tools), a national working group is responsible for formulating recommendations on the necessary changes to this vocabulary.
