(AureXus) (FR : Pré-notice)
The result of assisted cataloging. An identically digitized and ocerized resource is integrated into MEDUSA which generates a pre-filled bibliographic record. There are two types of prefilled records: derived prefilled records and created prefilled records.
– Derived prefilled record: If a bibliographic record found in a database matches the resource, a prefilled record is derived from it while enriching the data with the ocerized text.
– Created prefilled record: If a corresponding notice is not found, a pre-notice is generated from the digitized ocerized resource. Operators and cataloguers ensure the completeness and accuracy of the prefilled bibliographic record, which subsequently becomes a complete bibliographic record.
