Compendium of all cataloging rules that apply to all types of resources. Based on cataloging principles and a bibliographic information model, it allows a logical approach to descriptive cataloging and subject indexing of resources. The RDA cataloging code applies the International Principles of Cataloging and is based on compatibility with the IFLA-LRM model. RDA-FR is a French transposition of RDA, it reconciles respect for French analysis and the need for interoperability.
