(TB) IFLA Library Reference Model (FR : IFLA LRM)
Reference model for libraries. Conceptual model released by IFLA in 2017, designed for use with Linked Data and to promote the use of bibliographic data. It replaces the three models FRBR, FRAD and FRSAD which it merges by resolving the inconsistencies that existed between these models developed separately. A generic model, it allows extensions according to a more or less fine granularity of bibliographic information, depending on the implementations and cataloging rules. From 2018-2019, RDA will refer to the IFLA LRM model of which it will be an example of implementation in a cataloging code.
