ABES = Agence bibliographique de l’enseignement supérieur (FR : ABES)
ABES is placed under the supervision of the ministry responsible for higher education (France). It manages and develops the University Documentation System (Sudoc). It identifies and locates the documentary holdings of higher education libraries and oversees the standardization of cataloging and indexing.
