(TB) FRBR = Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FR : FRBR)
Conceptual model of bibliographic data, validated in 1997 by IFLA. It defines the entities to which the catalog information relates as well as the relationships that exist between these entities. It analyzes any resource described as the grouping of four distinct entities (Work, Expression, Manifestation, Item) whose catalog record reflects attributes and relationships. This model is now obsolete. It is replaced by the Library Reference Model (IFLA LRM).
